Art that lives in Pangandaran Regency is not much different from other areas in Priangan, the art of buhun that lives to this day: Debus, Mandorek, Kuda Lumping, Rudat, Badud and others. Besides that in Pangandaran Regency there is a art that we can say as a distinctive feature of Pangandaran Regency, namely RONGGENG GUNUNG. Other groups or art associations that live in Pangandaran are: tayub dance, kecapi suling, degung, calung, reog, band, pencak silat, ronggeng amen, and others.
Pangandaran is one of the regencies that is very rich with natural objects, both containing historical, cultural and natural resources of flora and fauna. The tourism objects are: Tourism Village Village, Cave Donan, Karapyak Beach, Karang Nini, Putri Valley, Pangandaran Beach, Karang Tirta, Batu Hiu, Citumang, Gunung Tiga, Santirah, Sinjang lawang, Cukang taneuh, Batukaras, Madasari, Manggrove Educational Tours Bulak Setra and others.

Pangandaran with its beaches and nature reserves is a tourist attraction that has 7 privileges: the beach is sloping, not muddy, the distance between tides and low tides is long enough, so that low tide can be used for various activities on the beach, the sea waves but no harm , there are no seaweed and jellyfish so the water does not cause itching, far from the river mouth so the water is clean from dirt, and Pangandaran beach is not a dangerous wood. From year to year, especially on holidays, the flow of tourists coming to Pangandaran increasingly large, so that Pangandaran feels narrow, it is expected that the Pangandaran people can play a more important role in providing adequate facilities, especially in providing accommodation for domestic and foreign tourists.
CAGAR ALAM PANANJUNG
In 1918, peninsular land which was originally owned by the people was exchanged by the government – through the Forestry Service – to become a forest cover. Area of 525.25 hectares. Until 1960 was made as a Wildlife Sanctuary. Since 1961, the status has been changed to a Nature Reserve which is now managed by the Pangandaran Nature Protection Preservation Sub-Center based in Bogor.
Pananjung nature reserve, besides having beautiful beaches and mountainous nature, is also equipped with natural forest wealth, animals [bulls, deer, monkeys, various species of birds]. Other recreation places are cangkrungan marine parks, natural caves, caves of former Japanese Army defense during World War II, and stone screens.
